Dr. Tripti Prasad Thakur
Dr. Tripti Prasad Thakur is a strategic finance leader with more than 25 years of experience advising high-growth companies on scaling, operational performance, fundraising, profitability, and exit planning. Her expertise spans e‑commerce, digital media, consumer products, and venture-backed companies, with deep experience in capital planning, due diligence, and strategic transactions.
Her career includes leadership roles in equity research, corporate finance, and executive finance, including serving as CFO of GearLaunch and a private media company, and as VP of Finance at Prodege and MyPoints. Across these roles, she has led financial planning, forecasting, acquisition readiness, and operational transformation initiatives.
At Rose Bowlus Law, Dr. Thakur advises founders on capital strategy, valuation, investor readiness, and financial discipline. She also serves as an e‑commerce CFO with a California-based fractional CFO firm.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Baruch College, a master’s degree in finance and business education from New York University, and a doctorate focused on gender dynamics in venture capital. She is also a lecturer, advisor, and panelist for universities and venture organizations.
